Here is my small collection of Still-Life photos. The one I like the most is at the top, the first shot of two rocks leaning agains each other. I love the monochrome (b&w) effect, and the clarity and crispness of the texture on the stones’ surface contrasts well with the fuzzy background shade. The lighting is fairly dramatic as well which I also appreciate compared to the softer, less interesting lighting setups that I employ in the lower photos. The intent of this image is to show fragility and precariousness, the way the rocks are barely balanced against each other is mean to illustrate that.
